Saturday 14 October will be the day of the Italian Paralympic MTB Cycling Championship 2023, an event that will kick off the emotions of this edition. We invite all Paralympic athletes classified in categories B and C to register for the event via Factor K, looking for RACE ID 167814. We also advise you to send an email with the name of the athlete and the city of origin to the address: asdcicloclubspongano @gmail.com.

Race circuit:
The race circuit will start from the Port of Castro and will have a length of 7.5 km, with a vertical drop of 170 m for each lap. The race ring will include both sections on asphalt and sections on dirt. The number of laps to be completed will vary according to the category.

NUMBER OF LAPS EXPECTED FOR THE DIFFERENT CATEGORIES:
C1 C2 M/F 2 turns
C3 M/F 3 turns
C4 C5 and Tandem M/F 4 turns

Functional classifications:

As for the functional classifications, they will not be carried out in the days leading up to the event. Therefore, only athletes who have already obtained functional classifications in previous events will be admitted to the mountain bike event, such as those foreseen in the next Italian Paralympic Road Cycling Championship on 24/25 June.

The organization will recognize the Paralympic athletes a reimbursement of kilometer expenses in accordance with the tables of the Italian Cycling Federation.
